Where these reviews come from
None of these live only on this website. Every one of them was left by a customer on a platform we do not control, under their own name:
- Google — the business profile for West Springfield
- Thumbtack — where most of the early work came from, and where Top Pro status is awarded
- Yelp — the claimed Ed's Renovation profile
Click any of them and you can read the full set, including anything we have replied to.
Why we ask for them, and why we reply
Renovation is bought on trust more than on price. Nobody can inspect a waterproofing membrane after the tile goes on, so what a previous customer says is often all you have to go on.
That cuts both ways. When something has not gone right, we would rather hear it and fix it than find it in a review months later. Every job ends with the same question: is there anything left that is bothering you.
See the work, not just the words
Reviews tell you how it went. Photos tell you what you get. The portfolio has twenty-six before-and-after projects with a slider on each, and every town page shows a job from that area.
Questions we get
Are these reviews real?
Yes. Every one was left by a customer on Google, Thumbtack or Yelp, under their own account. We do not write them and we cannot edit them.
Can I see work you did in my town?
Yes — each town page has a before-and-after from that town or the one next to it, and the portfolio has twenty-six projects you can slide through.
Can I speak to someone you have worked for?
Usually yes. Ask when we do the walk-through and we will put you in touch with somebody who had a similar job done.
What happens if something goes wrong?
You call, and we come back. Workmanship carries a one-year warranty in writing, and in practice we fix small things long after that.
